DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Ambler Wine Collective! This club is a new and engaging way to learn about wine while sharing great bottles and conversation. All classes are led by Robert Peters and Russell Schilder\, longtime instructors in the Temple University (Ambler) Wine Appreciation program. \nHow the Collective Works\nEven months:\nGuided\, theme-based wine classes held at Stone & Key Cellars\nCurated selections chosen by Robert and Russell\nEach class includes one Stone & Key Cellars wine\nFuture themes include France\, Spain\, and Sparkling Wines \nOdd months:\nA relaxed “Lab Night”(Remember in science class\, you’d have the theory and then the lab!)Bring a favorite or interesting bottle to share that follows on the theme of the last wine classOpen group discussion led by Robert and Russell \nNext meeting: \nJoin us at 7 pm on Thursday\, June 11 for a class on Wines of Summer.\n\n\nSummer’s coming! That means warmer weather and more time outside. Picnics\, cookouts and lighter foods. Our favorite big red wines may not be what we are looking for all the time during this season. Time to chill a bottle and enjoy. We will explore some wines to consider which may be new discoveries. Come join us and sample these less familiar selections. We’ll have six wines from around the world to taste and discuss. Bring your favorite picnic food. Cheese platters are also available for purchase.\n\n\n\nTICKETS \nAbout Your Instructors\nRussell Schilder holds a WSET Level 3 certification and has extensive experience with wine-focused fundraising events and private tastings. \nRobert Peters brings over 30 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry across retail and wholesale markets. He holds certifications from the Society of Wine Educators (CSW) and the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET)\, and is known for his approachable\, engaging teaching style. \nRegistration Details\nEven Months (Classes): $60 per person\nOdd Months (“Lab Nights”): $20 per person \nAdditional Information\nFood: Light snacks (cheese\, charcuterie\, almonds\, olives) will be available for purchase from Stone & Key Cellars. \nParking: Free street parking after 6:00 PM throughout Ambler.
